CHECK OUT OUR 2013 SHOW!

Our New York Battle of the Bands was held on June 2nd 2013. The show was sponsored by Mick James Recording Studios, Five Towns College,

B Touring Video, Sam Ash, The Paramount, The Rock Underground, Armato's Pro Video and many more.

The competition was open to Long Island residents aged between 10 & 18 years old. Teenagers Studio Nine won the grand prize - a band documentary, music video and studio time - a $15,000.00 value!

The runner up winners, BX2, won music merchandise worth $150.00 and gift cards to local music stores.

There was an incredible amount of energy from the young musicians and all their supporters. So much talent, so much enthusiasm, so young! Each band put on amazing performances. It was magical. Kids as young as 10 playing their guitars behind their heads without missing a note, both male and female vocalists belting out notes you didn't think they were capable of, drummers, bassists, keyboardists - all interacting with each other on stage and having what looked like the best time of their lives. It was unforgettable.

The show was a huge success and was broadcast all over the world.

Our mission is not only to keep music in our schools but to give artists the ability to showcase their talents, on a worldwide stage, through webcasting, and on our web series programming. All productions are filmed on location of performances and events through high production value. Interviews  and acoustic performances are held in our studio and can be broadcast live or recorded for archive with the live performances.
Our nationwide Battle of the Bands competitions gives our young fellow musicians a stage to showcase their band to a new audience and the chance to win a documentary and studio time! Check out our Battle of the Bands page!

OUR MISSION

INSPIRE...

"Musicians own music because music owns them."

Virgil Thomson

"Its funny, when bands or younger musicians ask me: So what does it take to make it? Well, first explain to  to me what you mean by 'making it': Do you want to be a rock star or do you want music to be your livlihood?

Eddie Van Halen

"Music can change the world because it can change people."

Bono

"I'm not playing for other musicians. We're trying to reach the guy who works all day and wants to spend a buck at night. We'll keep him happy."

Nat King Cole

We were delighted to present Dr. Martin Luther King Elementary school in Wyandanch, NY, donations of 2 electric guitars, one acoustic guitar, one drum kit, a violin, cymbals, stands, music books AND a much needed air conditioner for their music room!!! We also gave a check for $500 to help the band fix some instruments! Thanks to everyone who contributed to the donations at our last Battle of the Bands. The kids and administrators were thrilled!
